Mr. Lonzo Lloyd Hicks, age 90, of Adairsville, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at his residence.

He was born March 17, 1932, in Gordon County, to the late Narvie Edwin Hicks and Ora Bearden Hicks. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Keith L. Hicks; brothers, Lloyd Hicks, Emory Hicks, and Willie Hicks; and sister, Jeanelle Dean.

Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Wright Hicks; sons, Michael Wright (Patty), Mitch Wright (Pam), Mark Wright, and Matt Wright (Keri); 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family of Lonzo L. Hicks would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Amedisys Hospice, Cartersville, Georgia for their kind and compassionate care for Mr. Hicks.

Honoring Lonzo's wishes the family will have a private celebration of his life. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations to be made to your favorite charity in Lonzo's memory.
