Mrs. Lucille Baggett Hight went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 around 9:00 PM.
She was born in Dooley County, May 8, 1917 daughter of the late Sam and Della Jarrett Baggett. She was the oldest member of Snow Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Hight loved working in her yard, flowers and quilting. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lee Hight; 2 sons, Delmar and Kenneth Hight, sister, Gladys Autry; brothers, Ed, Bill, Virgil, and J.D. Baggett.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Mattie and Bobby Langley of Adairsville; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and June Hight of Cartersville; daughter-in-law, Elaine Hight of Cartersville; grandchildren, Tonna(Rocky) Dutton, Greg (Cindy) Hight, Junia (Scott) Duvall, Michelle (Pete) Little, Trina Woods, Chuck (Wylinda) Hight, and Eric Langley; 18 great grandchildren, and a great-great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 27, at 3:00 PM from Snow Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Mattox and Mr. Greg Hight officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Greg Hight, Eric Langley, Chuck Hight, Kris House, Jacob Langley, Dawson Woods, Noah Dutton, and Chaz Hight. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Kyleigh Langley, Hannah Hight, Mary Fran Dutton, Taylor Woods, Kaity Stansell, Miranda Woods, Mackenslee Stansell, Britt Hight, Madison Silver, Ayden Rodriquez, Kahli Rodriquez, Keyota Atwater, Keytourah Redding, and Carlos Franks.
The family will receive friends at Barton Funeral Home, Saturday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
