Obituary
Ms. Lydia Alma Lancaster, age 91, of Lancaster Road, Adairsville, passed away Thursday (October 23, 2013) at the residence.
Ms. Lancaster was born in Gordon County, GA, June 20, 1922, daughter of the late John A. Lancaster and Josephine Shoemake Lancaster. She especially loved her animals and enjoyed being outside gardening and landscaping her flowerbeds. She was preceded in death by her parents and 4 brothers and 4 sisters, Edna Waters, Curtis Lancaster, Ava Lancaster, Henry Lancaster, Gene Lancaster, Cecil Perry, Lois Gregory, and George Lancaster.
Survivors include several loving nieces and nephews
Private funeral services will be held Sunday, October 27, 2013, at 3:00 PM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Rickey Dutton, Tony Dutton, Scotty Harmon, Vann Harmon, Dustin Harmon, and Zackary Taylor.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00PM until 3:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
