Mrs. Lynda Carol "Ghee" McLain, 77, of Adairsville formerly of Harlan County, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, March 5, 2022.

She was born in Verda, KY, August 27, 1944, daughter of the late Boyd Jones and Rachel Miranda Jones. Lynda was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob McLain; sisters, Virginia Stanfill, Lois Woodard, and Sue Hatcher; and brothers, Fred, Herman, Carl, Richard "Dicko", Billy "DoRight", and J. R. "Jar" Jones.

Lynda was one of kind. She lived life to the fullest and always had a good time. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was very thankful for all they did. Her days were filled with doing crossword puzzles, watching the news, yada, and sipping coffee. She was a lover of music, animals, people, and sweets. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Survivors include her daughters, Caren and Mark Hagan, Cary and Tommy Eldridge, grandchildren, Miranda Watson (Justin Morris), Alyssa Eldridge (Mary), Breanna Barfield (Kyle), Savannah Myhand, Jared Myhand (Maci), Maelee Hagan and Chandler Hagan (Kelsey); great-grandchildren, Jaden, Hank, Jocelyn, Madelyn, Jagger, Xander, and McKinna.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. The interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 PM until 3:00PM at Barton Funeral Home.
