Mr. Varn Malachi Duvall, age 76, of Kingston, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Duvall was born in Kingston, GA, on August 22, 1943, son of the late Chella Dolus and Catherine Buttram Duvall. Mr. Duvall was a member of Kinston Full Gospel Church, a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam Era, and had worked as a carpenter, most recently for Charles Duvall Construction.  Mr. Duvall was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Clarsey Rogers.

He is survived by his loving wife Brenda F. Swann of Kingston; 3 sons, Jerry Kerr of Rome, Scotty Kerr of Rome, and Jeff Garrison of LaFayette; 2 brothers, Charles Duvall of Kingston, and Dolus Duvall of Rome; 2 grandchildren, Kayleigh Garrison and Lane Garrison, several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 2:00PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. C. E. Wilkey and Rev. Gary Easterwood officiating.  Interment will follow in Floyd Memory Gardens, Rome with military honors. Pallbearers include Jeff Garrison, Jason Duvall, Jeremy Duvall, Zack Crowe, Preston Crowe, and Keith Crowe, while lifetime friend, Paul Matthews will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Mr. Varn Malachi Duvall.
