Ms. Margaret Carson Curtis, 73, of Adairsville, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, at her residence.

Born in Gordon County on May 5, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Joe Carson and Christine Conley Carson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Ray Carson and a sister, Gail Carson. Ms. Curtis was a member of Gray's Chapel AME Church and loved gathering and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by her sons, Lewis Curtis and Eric Curtis of Adairsville; grandchildren, Kadijah Branch and Samiria Slocum; great-grandchildren, Lloyd Nalls and Houston Foster; she also leaves behind to mourn her absence a host of cousins, nephew, and good friends.

A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 2:00pm at Grays Chapel AME Church, Adairsville.

R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of funeral arrangements for Ms. Margaret Carson Curtis.
