Mrs. Margaret Colston Woodring, age 88, of Adairsville passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018.

She was born in Adairsville, GA, July 20, 1929, daughter of the late Walter and Maude Jackson Colston. She was a member of the Adairsville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Raymond Woodring; brothers, Troy, Grady, Coley, Randolph "Doc", Willie "Bill", and Derward "Mutt" Colston; sisters, Thelma Payne, Mary Frances Elrod, and Edna Kate Sutton.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Beverly Woodring of Calhoun, Randall and Patti Woodring of Cartersville, Stanley and Paula Woodring of Rome, and Terry and Jacki Woodring of Adairsville; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jessie) Joyner, Crystal (Dale) Rustigian, Kareece (Michael) Chastain, April Woodring, Jared Woodring, Miranda (Jonathan) Stanley, Amy (Josh) Clevenger, Nathan (Leigh) Woodring, and Emily Woodring; 15 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Adairsville Church of Christ with Min. Butch Jones and Min. Steve McCaslin officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Elrod and Donnie Sutton.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
