Mrs. Marsha Lynn Whaley Brookshire, loving mother and grandmother, of Euharlee, GA, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025.

Marsha was born on June 1, 1955, to the late Tommy Whaley Jr., and Imogene Mashburn Whaley. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward F. Brookshire; son, Robert Michael Helton; brother, Tony Whaley; and sister, Shelia Whaley.

Survivors include her daughter, Jennifer Leann Duvall and husband, Dallas of Kingston; grandchildren, Cody, Savannah, and Riley Duvall; brother, Steve Whaley; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends also survive.

She was of Christian faith and retired from Hat D Transport. Marsha was a beloved member of her family, cherishing her role as a caregiver to her parents and other family members during their times of declining health. Known for her love of people and her willingness to help others, especially in times of need, Marsha was a beacon of kindness and support. She found joy in yard sales, cooking, crafting, gardening, and savoring a good crisp Coke. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 12:00PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Ronald Hood officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Memory Gardens, Cedartown.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
