Obituary
Mrs. Marsha Lynn McGill Burns, age 60, of North Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at her residence.
She was born in Atlanta GA, August 27, 1951 daughter of the late William "Bill" and Geneva Pauline Hansel McGill. Mrs. Burns, a Child of God, was of the Christian Faith, and had earned a Master's degree in Art, English and Equine Management. Mrs. Burns was a lover of animals, especially horses. A "lover of the arts", she was talented in all things creative, music, jewelry-making, fashion and interior design, and show business. Mrs. Burns also enjoyed watersports, snow skiing, and a tranquil swim in the lake. She was loved by all, always smiling and dancing, and a best friend to everyone.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Lewis Burns and 2 daughters, Lauren Jadyn "Lou" Burns and Kristen Lynn "KiKi" Burns all of North Georgia.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Mr. Bill Ayers officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, is in charge of funeral arrangements for Mrs. Marsha Lynn Burns.
