Mrs. Marsha Jean Hamilton, 76, of Adairsville went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, July 30, 2020.

She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, October 14, 1943, daughter of the late Marshal Dempsey Lail and Nellie Taylor Lail. She and her husband married in 1962 and were blessed with 4 children. Marsha was devout christian and loved sharing the word of God. She was a past Sunday school teacher, bible school teacher, and a christian writer. Marsha was loved by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Delayne Marshal Hamilton and sister, Drena Marie Lail.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, Rev. Stanley Hamilton; children, Julieanna (Jack) Edwards, Raelynda Edwards, and Melissa Hamilton; grandchildren, Hillary(Daniel)Lewark, Byron Dale Edward, Jr, and Savannah Edwards; great-grandchildren, Gracie Long, River Lewark, and Lakelyn Lewark; brother, Dana Marshal Lail; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Sunday, August 2, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Hamilton officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made in honor of Marsha to the American Alzheimer's Association or the Gideons Bible Society.
