Mrs. Mary Adams Dean, age 65, of Pleasant Lane NE, Fairmount passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at Redmond Regional Medical Center, Rome, Ga.
She was born in Cartersville, Ga, April 22, 1949, daughter of the late Paul L. Adams and Ruby Bagley Adams. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Cartersville and always put others before herself. Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Betty Adams, and brothers, Paul and Weldon Adams.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Preston Dean of Fairmount, step-son, Jeff and Amanda Dean of Fairmount, brother, Robert and Theresa Adams of Cartersville, her loving dog, Daisy and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Gayton and Rev. Tracey Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Log United Methodist
Church Cemetery, Rydal. Pallbearers will be J. Mar Harris, Phil Hunt, Joe Graham, Michael Adams, Robert Adams, and Michael Hall.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville and Monday prior to the service.
