M rs. Mary Ezra , age 73 , of Adairsville , went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursd ay, August 26 , 2021.

She was born January 14, 1948 in the Atco Community of Bartow County Georgia . Mrs. Ezra was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Over the years Mary enjoyed traveling to all 50 states, collecting a glass from each one. She also enjoyed putting puzzles together, working in her yard and garden, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Stroup and Sara Clayton Stroup; sisters, Dora Ray and Bootsie Stroup; and brother, Jimmy Stroup .

She is s urvived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dell Ezra; sons, Terry and Tammy Hicks and Jerry Hicks; grandson, Jerry Hicks, JR; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Satur day, August 28 , 2021 , at 1 : 0 0 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home , Adairsville with Rev. Gregg Free o fficiating . Interment will follow in Hayes Cemetery, Folsom Community . Pallbearers include Terry Hicks, Marty Ray, Billy Guy, Bill Lewis, and Bobby Flemons.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
