Mr s . Mary Jo Heath Neal, 81 , Kingston, passed away Tues day evening , March 22, 2021 , at the residence.
Mr s . Neal was born March 25, 1939 in Kingston , Georgia, to the late Dewey Heath and Liley Harden Heath. She was a member of Kingston Full Gospel Apostolic Church and had worked as a caregiver at Felton Manor in Cartersville. Mary Jo loved her family, especially her grandchildren and was blessed to have spent a lot of her time with them. She enjoyed collecting teapot sets, acquiring several over the years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend will be missed by many. Sh e was preceded in death by h er parents; husband, Frank Eugene Neal Sr.; brother s , Albert Heath and Fred Heath ; sisters, Rosa Mae G h orley, Pauline Guyton, and Jessie Mae Smith .
Survivors include her son, Frank Neal Jr.; daughters, Michelle Schultz and Carolyn Heath; five grandchildren, Jason Neal, Joshua (Sarah) Long, James (Deborah) Long, Heather Barnett, and Deena Wilson; 12 great-grandchildren; special niece, Martha Ghorley and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday , March 25 , 2021 , at 2 :00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Min . Chris Carter and Rev. C. E. Wilkey officiating. Interment will follow in Kingston Cem e tery.
Pallbearers will be Tony Smith, Ty Owensby, Teres Cowart, James Long, Joshua Long, and Toccoa Long. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home.
Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
