Mrs. Mary Annette Jacobs, age 84, of Cartersville, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 8, 2026, with her loving family at her side.

Mary was born in Chattanooga, TN on December 1, 1941, daughter of the late Evie Rouse Callahan and Jerry Lyons. She was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Jerry Lyons, Charles Simmons, Carolyn Adams, Ricky Callahan, and Danny Callahan.

Survivors include her loving husband of 61 years, Rena Jacobs; children, Mary Diane Jacobs, Stacy Rena Bell(Donnie), Jonathan Shane Jacobs(Mindy), and Jamie Eric Jacobs(Candace); grandchildren, Devin Radford(Andrea), Courtney Williams (Cory), Hannah Willis(Garrison), Lindsey Taylor Jacobs, Cody Jacobs(Savannah), Shane Jacobs, Kasey Jacobs, Brandice Morris, Megan Pettyjohn and Alyssa Pettyjohn; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Mary was of the Baptist faith and worked in the cleaning industry. She enjoyed going to yard sales and, most of all, cherished the time she spent with her family and beloved grandchildren. Her family was a special part of her life, and she will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
