Mrs. Mary Lee Hughes Miller, age 79, of Kingston, passed away March 20, 2019.

She was born in St. Charles, VA, November 27, 1939, daughter of the late Burl Hughes and Virgie Whited Hughes. She was a member of Kingston Holiness Church. Although Mary never had children of her own, she was a mother to many. Over the years she was very helpful in raising all of her nieces and nephews. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Blondie Hughes and brothers, Shorty, Bobby, Eugene, Earl, Wayne, Bruce, and Jackie Hughes.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Calvin Miller of Kingston; sisters, Evelyn Lephew of Kingston; brothers, Jimmy Hughes of Ohio, and Michael Hughes of Virginia; several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-laws.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Jessie Parker officiating. Internment will follow in White Cemetery. Pallbearers include Dustin Sweatt, Mark Lephew, Tim Mosley, Danny Fisher, Danny Laird, and Billy Goodwin.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
