Mrs. Mary Lynn West Smith, age 46, of 57 Boyd Mountain Road, Adairsville, passed away Tuesday morning, August 28, 2012 at Gordon Hospital, Calhoun.

Mrs. Smith was born in Floyd County, August 30, 1965, daughter of Robert "Bobby" West and the late Betty Jean Pritchett West. She was of the Christian faith. A "daddy's girl", she was a lively individual who loved music and most enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, and a brother, Robert "Robbie" West, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Scott Smith of Adairsville; a son and daughter-in-law, Isaac (Tammy) Abernathy of Ranger; 2 daughters, Tiffany Maria Smith of Adairsville and Kattie Lynn Smith of Adairsville; her father, Robert "Bobby" West of Adairsville; 2 sisters and a brother-in-law, Ramona (Dean) Hunter of Kingston, and DeeDee (Bruce) Herron of Adairsville; a brother, Shane West of Adairsville; 3 grandchildren, Kaydence Smith, Briley Stuart, and Melanie Smith; nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held Friday, August 31, 2012, at 4:00 PM from the Adairsville Church of God with Mr. Dowis Satterfield and Rev. Chris Hall officiating. A private interment will follow at a later time in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 31, 2012, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Adairsville Church of God.

Flowers will be accepted as well as donations.
