Mrs. Mavis Elaine Thomas Love, age 72, of Adairsville passed away Friday, November 29, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Elaine was born in Ft. Payne, AL, January 14, 1952, daughter of the late Dewey Thomas and Dixie Sue West Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Candi Love Poore; grandson, Wyatt Mezick; sister, Sue Thomas; and brothers, Ronnie and Boyd Thomas. Elaine attended Heritage Baptist Church. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Elaine cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping trips, working in her flower gardens, and baking. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Mickey Love; daughters, DeeDee Love and Roni Love Garland (Jason); grandchildren, Chaz Mezick (Candace), Sierra Denton (Jonathan), Kalieb Crowder (Danielle Crabb) and Tucker Blaylock; great grandchildren, Walt and Levi Mezick, Silas Anduze, Penelope Denton, Gypsi Rose and Harper Crowder, Maci Harne, Roczen Garland, and Roslyn Blaylock; brothers, Jerrell Thomas (Tina Warmack), Randy Thomas, and Wesley Thomas (Rebecca); several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the funeral.
