Max Eugene Simerly, age 64, of Dalton, GA, passed away unexpectedly, February 19, 2025, at his residence.

Max was born in Clanton, Alabama, August 23, 1960, son of Glenn Simerly and the late Dorothy Holt. He was retired from the textile industry. Max was a loving son, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his beloved sons, Max Eugene Simerly, II (Tonya) of Adairsville, Albert Glenn Simerly (Brandie) of Calhoun, Lee Simerly (Christy) of Adairsville; father, Glenn and Molly Simerly of Alcoa, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Haley Simerly Crowe, Jeb Simerly, Trenn Simerly, Abreyann Simerly, Cadance Simerly, Cohen Simerly, Abigail Simerly, Addis Simerly, Aeson Simerly.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 3:00 pm at Hall Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery, 929 Hall Memorial Rd NW, Calhoun, GA, 30701.

R. Dudley Barton and Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, is in charge of funeral arrangements for Max Eugene Simerly.
