Mr. Mcarthur "Mack" Ward, age 80, of Adairsville passed away Tuesday evening, February 28, 2023, at Piedmont Cartersville Medical Center.

Mr. Ward was born in Adairsville, Georgia, October 5, 1942, son of the late Harry Murphy Ward and Edna Francis Gore Ward. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Joyce Bragg Ward; daughters, Cheryl and Angela Ward; son Shane Ward; and brother, Johnny Ward. Mack was a wonderful father and grandfather. He loved his family and was always there for them. He was a truck driver most of his life. He drove for several companies including, Wards, Cobra, Cardinal, and Brown Cartage. Mack loved the races, NASCAR, dirt track, even go-cart. He enjoyed planting a big garden every year and was so good to share with everyone. He will be missed.

He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Long, Lynn Ward, and Brenda Doussaitis Adcock; grandchildren, Eric Long, Carrie Long, Juvane Doussaitis, Michael Shane Ward, Gavin Ward, and Joycelynn Ward; great-grandson, Blake Doussaitis; brothers, Autry Ward, Mickey Ward, and Larry Ward; sisters, Jane and Johnny Daniels and Sue Daniel; and his two dogs, Peaches and Jasmine.

Honoring Mr. Ward's wishes he will be cremated.

A celebration of Mack's life will be held Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 3:00PM at Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Adairsville with Ms. Nancy Long and Rev. Tommy Satterfield officiating.
