Mrs. Melissa J. Kerr, age 66, Adairsville, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, with her husband and daughter at her side.

She was born on September 27, 1957, in Rome, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Kerr, Sr. and Carol Jean Stewart Kerr.

Survivors include her loving husband, John M. Kerr of Adairsville; daughter, Brandi A. Kerr; brother, Charles and Gail Kerr of Florida.

Melissa was a master cosmologist having worked in Adairsville and Calhoun. Melissa enjoyed gardening, traveling, Star Trek, Stargate SG1, Harry Potter and many other fandoms. She loved playing with her dogs and cats.

A Celebrations of Melissa's life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to be made to your local animal shelter in Melissa's memory.
