Mr. Michael "Micky" Harris Wheeler, 73, Cartersville passed away Saturday May 16, 2020.

Mr. Wheeler was born in Kingston, Georgia, July 15, 1946, son of the late Joseph Lorenzo Wheeler and Ida Lorena Harris Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a member of Kingston Baptist Church. He worked as a contractor for many years. A true techie, he enjoyed working with computers and keeping up to date with the latest advancements. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Joe Frank Wheeler and Danny Clifton Wheeler.

He is survived by his brother, Billy Wheeler of Kingston; nephews, Chris Wheeler and Mike Wheeler; nieces, Dede Long and Brandi Boswell; daughter, Dana Bradley and several great nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. C.E. Wilkey officiating. Interment will follow in Kingston Cemetery. Following social distancing guidelines the family will receive family and friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
