Michael Ledell Kiser, age 63, of Cartersville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, January 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was born in Cartersville, GA, April 25, 1960, son of the late, John Ledell Kiser and Claudette Richards Kiser Hall. He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Annie Ruth Duvall and aunt, Nancy Richards McFarland. He was a faithful member and song director at Clear Creek Baptist Church. He loved serving the Lord and sharing his testimony. Mike was a hard worker and enjoyed every minute of it; he spent 19 years at Atlantic Steel and was a truck driver for over 30 years. He could light up a room with his contagious smile and laugh. He was kind and generous, always willing to help others. To know Mike was to love him. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him.

Survivors include the love of his life and best friend of 19 years, Kathy Duvall Kiser; beloved children, Tiffanie Duvall and Luke and Ali Holcomb; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Scott and Junia Duvall; uncle, Ron and Betty Ann Richards; aunt, Margaret and Donny Lowery; grandchildren, Taylor Toledo, Aiden Toler, and Ali Toler; special cousin, Tim Duvall; special friend, Richard Dean; fur-babies, Oliver and Charlie; and several dear cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Reverends David Summey, Reggie Nation, Ricky Sanford, and Jimmy Temples officiating. Interment will follow in Cassville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Derrick McFarland, Welsey Lowery, Wiley Sullins, Scott Richards, Joseph Richards, Anthony Carrington, and Michael Roberson. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim Duvall, Chuck Nichols, Chuck Hight, Chris Holmes, Jack Darnell, Dane Richards, Joe Hazelwood, and James Hartness.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in honor of Mike to Clear Creek Baptist Church, 701 Cedar Creek Road, Cartersville, Georgia 30121.
