Mr. Michael Anthony Pearson, Sr., age 58, of Clear Lake Drive, Adairsville, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Floyd Medical Center.

He was born in Rome, Georgia December 23, 1956, son of Joel D. Pearson and Juanita Anthony Pearson. He was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church and worked for Mannington Carpets for twenty-eight-years. He enjoyed hunting, playing softball, and loved being with his grandchildren. Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Pearson and sister, Tabitha Pearson.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie Towe Pearson of Adairsville; parents, Joel and Juanita Pearson of Rome; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Kellie Pearson of Rome; daughter, Chelsea Pearson of Rome; step-daughters, Amanda Dabbs of Adairsville and Crissy Hatcher of Columbus; grandchildren, Jace, Brody, and Heath Pearson, Carliegh Greene, Lilly and Cruiz Mitchell, Jr. and Rigden Ray; brother, David Pearson and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 1, 2015 at 11:30 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Minister Larry Towe and Randy Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
