Mr. Michael "Shane" Robbins, age 52, of Plainville, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Erlanger Hospital from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.

M r . Robbins was born in Floyd County, Georgia, October 18, 1969 , son of the late Glenn Hughes Robbins and Jeanette Watson Smith . He lived for the simpler things in life and was always happy. Shane loved fishing and had a knack for painting and drawing. He was always into something and willing to help other s . A friend to all, Shane will be missed by many. Shane was preceded in death by h is parents and brother, Dewayne Robbins.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Evans Robbins; children, Colby and Meghan Robbins and Lacey Robbins; grandchildren, Branton Robbins, Bowen Robbins, and one on the way; sister, Angie Culberson; stepdaughter, Jessica Lankford; step-granddaughter, Trista Lankford; mother of his children, Michelle Johnson; several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 12, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home. A Celebration of Shane's Life will follow with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating.
