Obituary
Mr. Michael Edwin Smith, age 67, of Adairsville, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
Mr. Smith was born June 11, 1951, in Rome, Georgia, son of the late Edwin Charles Smith and Edna Faye Bagley Smith. He was a member of Snow Springs Baptist Church and a graduate of Adairsville High School class of 1969. A free spirit, Michael enjoyed walking, meeting new people, and had the best sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jerry Smith; niece, Lori Brasington; nephew, Andrew Jackson; great-niece, Olivia Pasley; and great-nephew, Zane Wise.
Survivors include his sisters, Sandra and Marion Brasington, Cheryl Pasley, Diane and Wayne Jackson; sister-in-law, Kay Smith all of Adairsville; uncles and aunts, Lawrence and Nancy Smith, Jimmy and Vera Mae Smith, Frank and Virginia Smith, Lelar Smith, Charlene Smith, and Glenda Watkins; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday, November 2, 2018, at 4:00 PM at Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Ed Pasley officiating. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2:00 PM until 3:30 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
