Mrs. Michele Nelson Norton, age 46, of Euharlee, passed away Monday, May 27, 2024, at the residence.

Michele was born in Marietta, Georgia, February 12, 1978, daughter of Paul Nelson and Patricia Bonney Johnson. Michele was a loving wife, mother, grammy, daughter, sister and friend. She lived life to the fullest and was always a joy to be around. She loved being a grammy and spending time with her grandsons. She was an avid reader and enjoyed going to karaoke with her family and friends. Michele was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Deloris Isbell, Max Nelson, and Joann Garner; father-in-law, Jimmy Norton; and sister-in-law, Rhonda Norton Chambers.

Survivors include her loving husband of 26 years, Jeff Norton; daughter, Kaitlyn and Marshall Branscum; son, Bailey Norton; grandchildren, Masen and Wollie Branscum and soon to arrive, Baby Norton; father, Paul and Tammy Nelson; mother, Patricia and David Johnson; sisters, Candace Nelson Speight and Meghan Davis; brothers, Paul Nelson and Cody Nelson; mother-in-law, Margie Norton and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Kenneth Stepp and Blake Stepp officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Tracy Edwards, Chris Leatherwood, Jordan Hines, Jake Hollingsworth, Marshall Branscum and Mac Davis.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
