Mrs. Mildred Payne Cline, age 86, formerly of Rocky Face, passed away Monday evening November 30, 2015 at Hamilton Medical Center, Dalton.

Mrs. Cline was born in Calhoun, GA, February 7, 1929, daughter of the late Charlie R. Payne and Beulah Walraven Payne. She was a member of Erwin Hill Church of God in Calhoun. Mrs. Cline and her late husband, Richard, owned and operator a carpet manufacturing company and several other businesses. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude Richard Cline; daughter, Hilda Greeson; brothers, Robert Payne, D.A. Payne, and Ralph "Buck" Payne; sisters, Lila Brackett and Ruby Darby.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Patricia Cline of Dalton; grandchildren, Julie (Darin) Langford of Rocky Face, Richard (Vicki) Manning of Rocky Face, Jeremy (Leslie) Cline of Forest Grove, OR, and Chad (Jennifer) White of Tunnel Hill; sister, Edith Phillips of Calhoun and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Pastor James Shope and Pastor Ronnie Branham officiating. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
