Obituary
Ms. Mildred Milsap, age 66, of 147 Youngs Mill Road, Kingston, formerly of Pine Grove Circle, Adairsville, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Floyd Medical Center, Rome.
She was born in Rome, GA, April 19, 1945, daughter of the late John H. and Clydie Milsap. Ms. Milsap was of the Pentecostal Faith and had attended Creekside Church in Cartersville. She was an animal lover and enjoyed shopping and gardening. She is preceded in death by a brother, John Ed Milsap, and a sister, Willie Mae Tatum.
Survivors include her 3 nieces, Dottie (Wayne) Wilson of Rome, Rita (Van) Duvall of Kingston, and Anita Hughes of Kingston; an aunt, Annie Lewis of Rome; great nephews, Tim Wilson, Jeff Wilson, Jason Duvall, Jeremy Duvall, Gary Holmes, and Adam Dobson; and a great niece, Christy Lowery.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2012 in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Abernathy and Rev. Jackie Culberson officiating. Interment will follow in Snow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Duvall, Justin Duvall, Malachi Duvall, Charles Duvall, Deron West, and Zack Crowe.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
