Obituary
Mrs. Mildred Helen Rodeheaver Sisler, age 85, of 951 Woody Road, Adairsville, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011, at Summit Health, Rome.
Mrs. Sisler was born in Richard, West Virginia, March 5, 1925, daughter of the late Dewey and Edna Uphold Rodeheaver. She loved flowers, enjoyed quilting, and could often be found working in her yard. Mrs. Sisler was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ward Arnold Sisler and 2 great-grandsons.
Survivors include her 5 daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia R. and Ronald Miller of Acworth, Sandra Lynn and Ronald Kalmar of McDonough, Mary Jane and Ronnie Cannon of Adairsville, Sharon Rebecca Dodd of Fairmount, and Brenda Gail Goss and fiancée, David Yancy of Acworth; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday, January 8, 2011 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home. A committal service in the chapel will follow. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2011, at 12:00 PM from Sylvania Hills Memorial Park and Mausoleum, Rochester, Pennsylvania.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, is in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Mildred Sisler.
