Mrs. Misty Leanne Chastain, age 37, of East Vanderbilt Street, Piedmont, AL passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born in Cartersville, Georgia, March 22, 1983, to Wanda Sue Self Klein. She was a member of Daily Street Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her son and nieces and nephews. Misty enjoyed going to watch her son wrestle and play football, drawing, and was a fan of Alabama football. Misty had a heart of gold that will be dearly missed. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nevaeh Chastain; stepfather, Steven Klein; and grandparents, Roy and Margie Self.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny "John Boy" Chastain; son, Dyllian Freeman; mother, Wanda Sue Klein; sister, Margie Lucas; brother, Reid Klein; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 15, 2020, at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. Interment will follow in Eastview Cemetery. Pallbearers include Tyler Lucas, Adam Freeman, Marshall Wright, Cameron Bowles, Robbie Copenhaver, and Joey Gazaille. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.

Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
