Ms. Molly Elizabeth Young passed away Monday, April 21, 2025. She was born on May 1, 1945, in Canton Ga to the late Mr. and Mrs. James and Wealtha Breeden. She grew up in Tate, Georgia, and attended North Canton School. She attended Canaanland Christian Center in Adairsville. She had a beautiful smile that could light up any room and a warm, welcoming spirit that made it easy for her to make friends wherever she went. She loved her dog Lakota and her cat Kitty and also Birdie the Bird. She found great joy in planting flowers and tending to her yard to beautify her surroundings. She was Always full of life, she loved to dance, constantly moving her feet to the rhythm of music. Her favorite past times included playing bingo and Uno, and she especially loved traveling with her family to different places, seeking out the yard sales. She was always eager for a new adventure and time together. More than anything, she treasured the moments shared with her loved ones, from her children to her great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved siblings: George, Gladys, Rosie, Tiny, Buddy, Jessie Mae, and Lewis; and 4 grandchildren.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children: James and Jenny Young, Barbara and Jimmy Ragland, Stephen and April Young, and Kenny and Becky Young. Her legacy continues through a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly and who will forever hold her in their hearts. She touched so many hearts she met with kindness and grace. Her legacy lives on through her family, faith, and the lives she impacted.

A Celebration of Molly's life will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, at 12:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home with Reverends Lamar Long, Barbara Ragland, Christopher Patrick and Bernan Hall officiating. Interment will follow in Towe Chapel Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include James Young, Steve Young, Kenny Young, Cody Young, Austin Fuqua, Brandon Steele, and Michael Hall. Honorary Pallbearers include Steven Young, Zach Young, Remington Steele, Jamie Patrick and Jacob Young.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00PM until 7:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
