Mrs. Nannie Lou Lochridge Bailey, age 91, of Bailey Road, Adairsville, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at Redmond Regional Medical Center.

She was born in Bartow County, GA, December 15, 1922, daughter of the late Randolph Lochridge and Gladys Chambers Lochridge. She was a member of Oothcalooga Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, loved crocheting, and spending time with all her family. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cephus "C.E." Bailey, Jr; sons, Sonny Bailey and Jimmy Bailey; brothers, Fred Lochridge, Paul Lochridge, and Bob Lochridge; sisters, Mary Mercer and Sue Cantrell.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Judy Bailey of Austell; daughters and son-in-law, Etta Braden of Adairsville, Nancy and Calvin Howell of Adairsville and Ruth Johnson of Adairsville; 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; brothers, James B. Lochridge of Cartersville, Charlie Lochridge of Cartersville, and Walter Lochridge of Cartersville; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. David Baker, Rev. Gary Hibberts, and Mr. Bill Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville. Pallbearers will include her grandsons, Mark Braden, Chuck Braden, Richard Howell, Kerry Howell, Wesley Johnson, and Jimbo Bailey. Honorary pallbearers include John Kent, Bill Cantrell, John Lochridge, Wess Hogue, and Daniel Lochridge.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
