Mr. Nathan Aaron Harris, 33, of Kingston, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Floyd Medical Center, Rome.
Mr. Harris was born in Marietta, GA, May 10, 1979, son of Debbie Parker Bearden and Harper Harris. Nathan was very artistically talented, loved to draw, read and collect comic books, was an avid video gamer, and especially enjoyed spending time with his two nieces, nephew, and younger brother. He was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, Rydal, and was preceded in death by a grandfather, Rev. Jessie Parker.
He is survived by his parents; mother and stepfather, Debbie and Keith Bearden of Cartersville and father, Harper Harris of Marietta; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Amanda and Blaine Greeson of Cartersville, Natalie Harris of Woodstock, Nicole Harris of Woodstock; a brother, Logan Bearden of Cartersville; grandparents, Bessie Parker of Adairsville, Chamler and JoAnn Harris of Marietta; two nieces, Isabelle and Gabrielle Greeson; and a nephew, Titus Greeson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 3:00 PM at Stoner Chapel Baptist Church, Adairsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Pallbearers include Darrell Parker, Joel Hyde, Tim Roach, Tyler Roach, Dusty Dowdy, Lamar Farr and Rick Garner, while his brother, Logan Bearden, and cousin, Earon Parker, will serve as honorary pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
