Obituary
Mrs. Sylvia Wynelle "Nell" Chandler, affectionately known as "Nana", age 82, of Hall Station Road, Kingston, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at her residence.
She was born in Whitesburg, GA, October 5, 1934, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James "Buck" Vines. Mrs. Nell was of the Baptist faith. She loved all mementos relating to Native American Indians, embroidering, and working crosswords. She was an amazing mother and grandmother, whose memory will be cherished. She was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Clinton "Sonny" Chandler.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Tracie and Mike Coggin of Adairsville; grandchildren, Shane Felts and Rion Cochran of Adairsville and Michaela Coggin and fiancé, Tyler Evans of Adairsville; Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert and Terrie (Coggin) Lubin, of Mableton, who were like her son and daughter; special cousins, Danny Vines and family and Tony Sewell and family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Gregg Free officiating. Interment will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park, Carrollton. Honorary pallbearers include Shane Felts and Gary Floyd. Pallbearers include Tyler Evans, Gilbert Lubin, Marc Leachman, Doug Isbill, Kenny Mann, Sam Strickland, and Jeremy Chappell.
The family will receive loved ones Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
