Mrs. Norma Bing Hendrix, age 83, of Old Hall Station Road, Kingston, GA, passed away May 3, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in Somerset, KY, October 4, 1935, daughter of the late Herschel Jackson Bing and Beatrice Davis Bing. Mrs. Hendrix was truly a jack of all trades when it came to working. She had owned and operated Kingston Grocery, worked in insurance sales, and for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. She may have had her hand in lots of things but her family was most important. She thrived on loving and being with her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Hendrix also enjoyed traveling and a good shopping trip. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Hendrix and daughter Gayle Redden
Survivors include her children, Gene (Judy) Redden, Lisa Redden Williams, Kevin (Cynthia) Redden, and David (Brandi) Hendrix; grandchildren, Lindsey Redden, Jeremy Redden, Derek Harrington, Gayle Scott, Zane Williams, Kyle Redden, Brian Redden, Lane Hendrix, Colt Hendrix, and Lovelyn Hendrix; great-grandchildren, Macie Mosteller, Leighton Redden, Jenner Redden, John Harrington, AJ Harrington, Wendy Scott, Theresa Scott, Joseph Scott, Matthew Scott, and Robert Williams.
A private memorial for immediate family only will be held at a later date.
R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville, will be in charge of arrangements for Mrs. Norma Bing Hendrix.
