Mr s . Ona Lee Hight , age 96 , of Rome, Georgia , passed away peacefully Fri day evening , March 2 6 , 2021.

Mr s . Hight was born March 7 , 19 25, in Bartow County , Georgia, to the late John W. Towe and Dora Garland Towe. She was the oldest member of Dry Creek Baptist Church . Sh e was preceded in death by h er parents; husband, Hiram Hight; grandson, George Jones, Jr.; brothers, Marvin, Roy, Chester, Junior, and Norman Towe and 2 infant sisters.

Survivors include h er children, Wynell and George Jones, Wayne and J udy Hight, and Kenny and Patricia Hight; grandchildren, Dennis Jones, Janice Jones, Stacey York, Jon Hight, Amy Hight, Renee Mount, Kenneth Hight, Stephen Hight, and Rachel Hight; great-grandchildren, Calandra Goss, Kaelan Caldwell, Randal l Caldwell, Dakota Hight, Joshua Hight, Breanna Blackmon, Tristian Blackmon, Brittany Horton, Nathan Horton, Robert Horton, Hannah Horton, Declan Hight, Haley Hight, and Ste ph en Hight, Jr. ; great great-grandchildren, Baylon Hight, Waylon Llewellyn, and Marley Horton; sisters, Jeanette Ellis and Grace Carnes; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Mon day , March 29 , 2021 , at 2 :00 PM Dry Creek Baptist Church , Adairsville with Pastor Stacey Nicholson, Rev. Sammy Adams, and Rev. Jackie Waits officiating. Interment will follow in Dry Creek Baptist Church Cem e tery. Grandsons will serve as p allbearers. Bobby H azelwood, Randy Hazelwood, Steve Hazelwood, Jerry Waits, Jackie Waits, Ronnie Towe, Ricky Towe, and Larry Towe will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Monday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Dry Creek Baptist Church.

Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
