Obituary
Mr. Oscar Hoover Willerson, age 88, formerly of Adairsville, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Trinka Davis Veterans Village, Carrollton, Georgia.
He was born in the Monroe, GA, November 18, 1928, son of the late Joseph Sidney Willerson and Nellie Lou Stewart Willerson. Mr. Willerson was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in WW II. He was an honorable man that was truly dedicated to his country. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Debbie Willerson; 15 brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Willerson of Rome; children, Donna Collins of Locust Grove, Randy Willerson of Locust Grove, Darlene Baxter of Rydal , and Michael Willerson of Adairsville; stepson, Anthony Gilreath; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2017, at 1:00 PM at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton with military honors.
