Mrs. Ouida West McClure, 93, of Snow Springs Road, Adairsville passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Golden Living Center, Rome.

Mrs. McClure was born in Gordon County, Georgia, April 3, 1920, daughter of the late Carl and Pauline Ralston West. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and had a passion for flowers. Mrs. McClure was known to most as being a very loving person, especially to her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie McClure; son, Sammy McClure; sister, Geraldine Wyatt and brothers, Chester West, Harry West, and Vernon West.

She is survived her daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Russell Edwards of Gaylesville, AL; 2 sons, Charles McClure of Adairsville and David McClure of Adairsville; 8 grandchildren, Melissa West, Michael Edwards, Johnny McClure, Jason McClure, Jennifer Mitchell, Tamela Anton, Steven McClure, and Leslie McClure; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren; brother, Donald West of Adairsville; 2 sisters, Victoria Jackson of Adairsville and Janelle Camp of Rome; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Jackie Clayton officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Johnny McClure, Jason McClure, Steven McClure, Michael Edwards, Leslie McClure, Jason Grant McClure, John Anton, Terry West, Jonathon McClure, and Greg Mitchell.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville
