Mrs. Ounderia "Onnie" Suzette Nicholson, age 60, of McDonough passed away July 1, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Onnie was born in Cartersville, Georgia, May 6, 1964, daughter of Maxine Olivia Adcock Beavers and the late Malcolm Coleman Pritchett. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Otchie Lee Nicholson.  Onnie lived life to the fullest. She loved her family and friends with all her heart. She was always happy, smiling and ready for the next big adventure. She enjoyed being outside, working in her gardening, swimming, and her dog, Keno. Onnie and her husband, David owned Affordable Counter Tops in McDonough and loved working together every day. Onnie touched the hearts of many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include her loving husband, David Nicholson; daughter, Nicole and Joe Hartbank; grandchildren, Olivia and Eddie Hartbank; mother, Maxine and Harold Beavers; brother, Malcolm and Charissa Pritchett; sister, Belinda and Benny Mulkey; stepbrother, Mark and Emily Beavers; stepchildren, Rachel Nicholson and David James Nicholson; stepmother, Doris Kimsey; sisters-in-law; Darlene Baker, Debbie Mayburn, Sheila Hornbeck, Pat Evans, Lisa Hill, Lila Matthews, and Linda Cagle; brother-in-law, Rickey Nicholson and nieces, nephews, dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Gregg Free officiating. Interment will follow in the Hayes Cemetery, Adairsville. Family will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Barton Funeral Home, Saturday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
