Mr. Lawrence Ovell Pratt, age 83, of Adairsville, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at AdventHealth Gordon.

Ovell was born in the Folsom Community on November 25, 1940, to the late Annie Lois Clayton Pratt and Mike Pyron Pratt. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Mike Earl Pratt, Jack Pratt and Dennis Glenn Pratt. Ovell was a master mechanic and owner operator of Pratt's Garage. He enjoyed tinkering with electronics and anything with a motor. Ovelle was a loving brother and friend who will be missed by many.

Survivors include his longtime companion, Judy Garlin Pratt; daughter, Lorinda; son, Mike; brothers, Douglas Pratt and Larry Pratt; sister, Darlene Pratt Muse and husband Larry; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Pratt and Martha Ann Pratt; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM from Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville with Rev Jim Pinkard officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers. There will be a private viewing for family only prior to the graveside service.
