Mrs. Pamela Igou Blaylock, age 58, of Railroad Street, Adairsville, passed away on April 29, 2015 at Floyd Hospital.
She was born in Rome, GA, July 15, 1956, daughter of Dorothy Mae Alexander Igou and the late James McCoy Igou. She was of the Methodist Faith and had worked for Securitas for several years. She loved being with her family and enjoyed traveling especially to the beach. She was preceded in death by father.
Survivors include her husband of twenty-nine years, Gary Blaylock of Adairsville; daughter, Janet Thibodeau of Adairsville; mother, Dorothy Igou of Rome; godchildren, Cynthia Lockwood of Guyton and Garrett Collins of Athens; brother, Alex (Cindy) Igou of Bristol; niece, Stephanie Linkous; sister-in-law, Brenda (Roger) Bailey of Adairsville; brother-in-law, Ricky (Leighann) Blaylock of Plainville; best friend and adopted sister, Diane Collins of Rome.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Minister Danny Pelfrey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
