Mrs. Patty Lee McClure Corey, 87, of the Folsom Community, completed life's journey on Friday, August 28, 2026, passing away peacefully in the very home where her life began.
Born at home in Folsom, Georgia, on September 29, 1938, Patty was the daughter of the late Robert Ansel McClure and Reba Estelle Miller McClure. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband and father of her son, John Winston “Jake” Bramblett; her husband, Charles Ross “Chuck” Corey; and her sister, Joyce Marie McClure.
Patty lived a life centered on faith, family, and artistic expression. She was a dedicated member of Glade Baptist Church and generously shared her musical gifts, faithfully playing both the piano and organ for church services as well as for the Eastern Star. She was a longtime member and Past Worthy Matron of the Joe P. Bowdoin Chapter #306, Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Woodmen of the World. An entrepreneur and gifted artisan, she also created distinctive handcrafted pieces as the proud owner of Petals to Memories and Magnetic Jewelry. Her gentle heart, caring nature, and creative talents left an enduring mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her devoted son, Robert Daniel Bramblett, and his wife, Kristi Hoyer Bramblett, of Birmingham, AL; her three beloved grandchildren, Morgan Bramblett Cook and her husband, Joel, of San Antonio, TX, and Jake “Astro” Bramblett and Joshua Bramblett, both of Birmingham, AL; two cherished great-grandchildren, Ellowyn Cook and Camber Cook; as well as a host of faithful extended family and loyal lifelong friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville, with Rev. Jason Parker and Rev. Allan Huskins officiating. A private family interment will take place at Hayes Cemetery at a later date.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at 2:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of R. Dudley Barton & Son Funeral Home, Adairsville.
