Mr. Presley King, age 66, of Adairsville went to his Heavenly home Monday morning, March 27, 2023.

He was born in Rome, GA, September 18, 1956, son of the late Barbara Worley King and D. M. King. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John P. Worley and Annie Samples Worley and Donald Pearson King and Blanche Bailey King; great-niece, Adison Moorehead. He was a faithful and lifelong member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church where he served as the church treasurer and assistant pianist. Presley was a gifted musician with a beautiful voice. Along with his family, Presley played and sang at numerous church events, weddings, and funerals. He worked in the banking industries for 45 years before retiring from Northside Bank. He was very knowledgeable with his ancestry and enjoyed game nights with his family and friends. Presley will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his beloved sisters and brother, Gloria and Gerald Childers, Donna and Frank Moorehead, Beverly and Rickey Whitfield, and Bruce and Mary "Cooky" King all of Adairsville; nephew and nieces, Aaron and Brandi Moorehead, Ariel King and Abbi King; several great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and dear friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 2:00 PM from Oak Grove Baptist Church with Reverends Daniel Campbell and Michael Hunt officiating. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens, Calhoun. Pallbearers include Aaron Moorehead, Riley Moorehead, Junior Moorehead, Alex Moorehead, Johnny Worley, and Chris Dyer.

The family will receive friends at Barton Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
