Obituary

Mrs. Reba Estelle Miller McClure, 93, of Folsom-Glade Road, NW, Adairsville, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2013 at Gordon Hospital, Calhoun.

She was born in White County, GA, July 22, 1920, daughter of the late Lon and Veller Ingram Miller. Mrs. McClure was the eldest member of Glade Baptist Church, where she had attended faithfully for over seventy years, and an active member of The Order of the Eastern Star of Georgia where, for eighteen years, she performed the duties of Esther, and had also been employed with Calmore for two decades. She took joy in cooking, flower gardening and most especially spending time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Anscel McClure; a daughter Joyce McClure; 3 brothers, John Miller, Howard Miller and an infant brother; 2 sisters, Elberta McCoy and Yvonne Miller;

Survivors include her daughter, Patty Bramblett Corey of Adairsville; a grandson and his wife, Robert Daniel and Kristi Bramblett of Birmingham, AL, 3 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jake and Joshua Bramblett, of Birmingham, AL' a sister and brother-in-law Cleo and Buddy Adcock; a brother and sister-in-law, Theodore and Martha Miller of Suches; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Glade Baptist Church in Adairsville with Rev. Jason Parker and Rev. Kyle Coker officiating. Interment will follow in Hayes Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Lowell Wilkins, John Cantrell, Bobby Miller, Jordan Miller, George White, and Wesley Stiles.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville. The Order of the Eastern Star will honor Mrs. McClure by performing a ceremonial service at the conclusion of visitation, at 8:00PM on Friday.
