Mr. Remmel Thomas Smith, Jr. age 61, of Cartersville, passed away November 24, 2021, at Cartersville Medical Center.

He was born in Villa Rica, Georgia, November 21, 1960, to the late Remmel Thomas Smith, Sr. and Linda Baswell Roberts. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church, Bremen, Georgia. Mr. Smith was employed with Shaw Industries. He we preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his dearest friend, Linda Orshoski of Cartersville; step-son, Tony and Chasta Helton of Bremen; grandchildren, Austin Helton and Cheyenne Helton; sisters, Cindy Rigsby and Tylea Jarriel both of Villa Rica; and niece, Taylor Jacobson of Villa Rica; sister-in-law, LaVangia and Lance Diddle; and brother-in-law, Douglas Wilkey.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery, Dallas with Reverend C. E. Wilkey officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 1:00PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
