Mr. Carver was born in Rome, Georgia, October 24, 1925, son of the late Taylor Floyd Carver, the late Dorothy Jennings Sanders. Mr. Carver was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Mae Camp Carver; sisters, Bernice McBrayer and Nona Wynn; and brothers, Elton Robert “Bob” Carver and Maxwell Jennings “Max” Carver; and sons-in-law, Clay Hightower and Danny Hightower.

Clinton Carver was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served with the 82nd Airborne Division. Following his military service, he retired from Lockheed Martin. However, the job that meant the most to him and brought him the greatest joy was preaching and sharing the Word of God. Clinton devoted much of his life to spreading the Gospel and sharing the Word of God. He preached at numerous churches throughout the area, including Young Street Baptist Church, Sunny Hill Baptist Church, and Reeves Baptist Church. Through his faith and ministry, he touched many lives, offering spiritual guidance and helping others find their way to the Lord. His faith was a guiding force in his life, and he found great purpose in sharing God's Word with others. For many years, Clinton's family also owned and operated an upholstery business in Shannon, serving the community and building a family legacy through their hard work and dedication. Outside of his work and ministry, Clinton was an avid outdoorsman who loved bird hunting and trout fishing. These hobbies brought him happiness and provided opportunities to enjoy the beauty of God's creation. Above all, Clinton was a wonderfulhusband, father, and grandfather. He cherished his family and leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, hard work, and devotion to those he held dear. He will be remembered for his service to his country, his commitment to the Lord, his love of the outdoors, and the many lives he touched through his ministry.
