Rev. Ralph Edgar Siniard, age 72, of Stoners Chapel Road, Adairsville, GA, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at his residence.

He was born in Cobb County, GA, on March 27, 1941, son of the late, William Henry Siniard and Ethel Dempsey Lowe. Rev. Siniard was a member of Stoner Chapel Baptist Church and had been a Baptist minister for over thirty years, preaching the Word of God to numerous congregations. Rev. Siniard was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sons, Scotty Siniard and Jeffery Siniard; a sister-in-law, Ola Faye Siniard.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Siniard of Adairsville; 3 grandchildren, Samantha Siniard of Alabama, Daniel Head of Chatsworth, and J.W. Siniard of Florida; a daughter-in-law, Mary Siniard of Adairsville; 2 brothers, Edward Siniard of Adairsville and Raymond Siniard of Carrolton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Stoner Chapel Baptist Church, Adairsville, with Rev. David Baker, Rev. Randy Jackson, and Rev. Dewey Atchley officiating. Interment will follow in Stoner Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville.

Pallbearers include Dillard Abernathy, Jimmy Watkins, Donald Collum, Terry Defoor, Steve Abernathy, Jerry Jones, Bill Prather, Dewitt Everett, and Ronald Abernathy. Honorary pallbearers include, Tracy Collum, Donnie Edwards, Josh Erickson, Trey Young, Joel Hyde, Bradley Lanham, Charles Allen, Buddy Smith, Earl Abernathy, and C.B. Dean

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 25, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Stoner Chapel Baptist Church, Adairsville.
