Mrs. Rhonda Faye Smathers, age 63, of Adairsville, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 19, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Rhonda was born in Cartersville, GA, November 5, 1962, daughter of the late Ola Faye Abernathy Siniard and William Edward Siniard. She was also preceded in death by her niece, Jasmine Nicole Gilreath.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Tabitha Dotson and wife, Angela; grandson, William Thomas Dotson; brother, Marty Siniard; sisters, Stella Siniard, and Nadine Barton and husband Scott, all of Adairsville; nieces, Maci Davey (Daleroy), Alexandria Barton, Lauren Siniard Gabriel Barton, and, Adrian Voils (Jameson); great-nieces and great-nephews, Alijah Henderson, Brody Smith, Olivia Smith, Ava Henderson, and Quincy Davey; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Rhonda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warm heart and vibrant spirit touched everyone who knew her. She had a fun and outgoing personality that could light up any room, and she had a truly creative soul. Rhonda found great joy in expressing herself through painting, drawing, and crafts, always bringing beauty and imagination to everything she created. She especially loved working with flowers and took great pride in making beautiful wreaths that reflected her artistic touch. Above all, Rhonda was simply a loving person who cared deeply for others, and her kindness, creativity, and joyful spirit will be remembered and cherished by all who were blessed to know her.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM from Stoner Chapel Baptist Church, Adairsville with Rev. Earl Abernathy officiating. The body will lie-in-state at the church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in Stoner Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers will include Jeb Rogers, Joshua Bradford, Andrew Dodson, Greg Elder, Barry King and Aaron Williams .

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
