Obituary
Mr. Richard William Brown, 54, of Adairsville Pleasant Valley Road, NW, Adairsville, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015 at his residence.
He was born in Orlando, FL, October 24, 1960, son Dolores Isabelle Neal Brown and the late Billie Llwellyn Brown. Mr. Brown was a member of NorthPointe Church. He was a Homeland Security inspector at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and previously an Emergency Medical Technician and Firefighter. He enjoyed shooting guns and working on cars. He was preceded in death by his father and wife, Barbara Cotner Brown.
Survivors include his mother, Dolores "Fritz" Brown of Bell, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Thomas Willingham of Bell, FL; step-son, Scottie Long of Adairsville; sister, Rebecca Schatzow of Wesley Chapel, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Sam and Sandra Brown of Bell, FL.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 13, at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville with Rev. Jim Pinkard officiating. Interment will follow in the Cotner-Brown family cemetery, Adairsville. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Barton Funeral Home, Adairsville.
