Mr. Richard Lynn Fite, age 65, of Southwood Drive, Adairsville passed away peacefully Thursday, March 18, 2021, at his residence.

He was born in Calhoun, Georgia, July 14, 1955, son of the late Troy W. Fite and Bunnie Mae Evans Fite. He liked fishing and hunting but mostly spending time with his family. Richard enjoyed living a simple life. He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Carolyn Fite; sons Alex Fite and Aaron Fite; sisters, Diane and Jerry Bagley and Karen and Pete Gentry; brothers, Tony and Hazel Fite, Danny and Jane Ellen Fite, and Steve and Jill Fite; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 21, 2021, at 4:00 PM at Adairsville Church of God with Pastor Ken Coomer officiating. Internment will follow in Eastview Cemetery, Adairsville. Pallbearers include Russell Fite, Adam Fite, Matthew Webb, Britt Cole, Jesse Rayburn, and Roy O' Berry.

The family will receive family and friends Sunday March 21, 2021, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Adairsville Church Of God.

Family and friends attending services will be required to wear face mask and observe social distancing.
